Today, Clark’s infrastructure has been upgraded to service large industrial complexes and BPOs such as Yokohama, Texas Instruments, Chip Manufacturers for Samsung, Casinos and major global Hotel chains like the Marriot, Hilton, Hyatt etc. The Philippine Government is migrating key government departments to Clark and has in fact already moved the Department of Transportation. Angeles city is where everyone lives and the entertainment capital of the Philippines. Clark Freeport Zone is located in what was once the Clark Air Base in Angeles City. The redeveloped military airbase, once the largest US airbase outside of USA, is now one of the Philippines’ center for business, industry, tourism, aviation and education, as well as a hub for gaming and entertainment in Central Luzon. Clark is easily accessible via the Clark International Airport located inside the Freeport Zone.

Clark International Airport (CRK) is one of the Philippines’ largest international airport complexes. Located in the Clark Freeport Zone, just minutes away from Angeles and right at the heart of Central Luzon, the Clark International Airport is the most convenient airport to travel to if you want to avoid the chaos of Manila. Its strategic location also makes it easy for you to travel to different points in Luzon via bus or van once you land in Clark. It’s also easy to go to Manila via the shuttle service that takes you directly to and from the country’s capital.

The state-of-the-art airport also provides access to some of the most beautiful places the Philippines has to offer.

Central Luzon, where Pampanga is located, has been lauded for displaying economic growth higher than the national average. The Philippine Statistics Office reported that in 2016, Central Luzon’s GDP grew by 9.5% while the national average was at 6.5%. This made the region the third fastest growing economy in the country. In Clark, specifically, investments amounting to $1 billion are expected to come in over the next 10 years, with both new and returning investors expressing confidence in the Philippines and in Clark Freeport Zone.

Angeles City and the Clark Freeport Zone are fast becoming the Philippines’ new economic center. From being at the heart of a booming economy to providing the same luxuries and amenities you will find in Metro Manila, to providing easy access to different areas of Luzon, Angeles is making a name for itself as the new Makati.
